This is a picture of an earthworm.
When looked at closely one can see that it has a segmented body. An animal
that has a segmented body is
any organism that has its different body parts repeating themselves throughout
the entire length of the organism's body; this allows it to move across
different surfaces and burrow deep into mud. This segmentation of the body
occurs both internally and externally.
